Beauty – August 2016 Haul Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On

August 2016 Haul Beauty Review

Here’s my August 2016 haul featuring skincare from Botanics, Asda, Nivea, a coffee table book, Nikon camera, Garnier and Blistex.

I’ve managed to end the week last week feeling pretty accomplished at work with all the deadlines, submissions and bookings. I’ve come out alive! So I thought “ME” needs a “little” treating.

As I have nothing particular in mind, I thought I just get whatever my eyes see in a bleep. Unlike the last time, I have a mission set in mind so I treated myself and got this amazing beauty which went down pretty well!

Beauty – August 2016 Haul Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On

• Garnier Ultimate Blends The Marvelous Glow Oil – I massage this on my wet hair after shower and let it air dry. I don’t really blow dry my hair as it makes it drier and brittle. This glow oil makes my hair silky and shiny throughout the day. It dries up non greasy feel and lightweight and smells so good on hair.

Blistex Intensive Moisturiser Hydrating Lip Cream – Just got something that will quickly moisturise my lips on the go.

Asda The Skin System Overnight Blemish Serum Tea Tree – its gel like formula leaves a cooling sensation on the skin. It is non sticky on skin after application and it’s got Salicylic acid which heals post acne spots.

Nivea In Shower Body Moisturiser Nourishing Cocoa Conditioner – this is a super moisturizing booster on the skin and I love it! Skin feels silky and supple the more I use this body moisturizer.

Nikon CoolPix B500 Black – My husband got me a new camera. We are going away to celebrate our first year anniversary this end of August and we decided to record our days for remembrance. Fingers crossed… All good!

The Book Of You – This is a journal self-help type of book. This educates us how to change our outlook in life and become more positive and stay happier. I wanted a coffee table book and I thought this one is perfect to get.

Botanics Hydration Burst Dual Action Cleanser – works as a makeup remover and cleanser in one. This is ideal for those who have dry skin. If you need immediate skin hydration boost then this one is worth a try. I use this as my alternative makeup remover as it has all the goodness in the world that my skin needs.

What did you last buy as a treat for yourself? What are you planning to get come pay-day?
