Here’s a quick review of BirchBox December 2016 Merry and Bright theme featuring Amie Skincare, Ciate, Benefit, Percy & Reed and Leighton Denny.
The holiday celebration is over now. Sorry but true! After all the hush and rush of the festive season, we are now back to the normality of daily living.
I have to be honest though, my brain is not yet ready to conspire and discuss goals and plan marketing strategies at work for the whole year yet.
To top it all, I am still “jet-lagging” to getting 8-hour sleep and tucking myself to bed by 11pm and not 3am! Life only gets better and better in time, eh?
For the first weekend of the year, I’ve managed to do a proper “me time” and enjoy these beauty pamper products I received in my BirchBox December 2016, the Merry and Bright theme.
Here’s a quick review of the BirchBox December 2016 – Merry and Bright:
1. Amie Skincare
New Leaf Deep Pore Exfoliating Polish
Anything that exfoliates the skin, I’m in! The mild, fine scrub particles gently exfoliates dead skin cells. It doesn’t leave my skin red nor feeling irritated. And it smells like melon too. Loved it!
2. Percy and Reed
Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Balm
This delivers the most gorgeous smell ever! A leave-in conditioner that helps bring back the shines and keep the hair healthy looking especially at the ends.
3. Leighton Denny
Nail Polish in Just Perfect shade
Two applications would do and the consistency is lightweight to apply. This is as well a pretty nail polish shade for Spring, which no doubt I will be putting on more during Springtime.
4. Benefit Cosmetics
Dew The Hoola
A very soft matte bronzer which is easy to blend and finishes off with a subtle glowing effect on the skin. If you are like me who is not a PRO at putting on a bronzing makeup, I propose that you do one little pump first and apply it on. If you feel it is overly light for you, you can have another pump until you get your preferred bronzing glow. Oh, and it smells lovely too!
5. Ciaté London
Fierce Flicks Eyeliner
This is one of the truest black eyeliner out there to try and has a dense consistency that draws the line in one stroke, as well as doing the wing flick at the tip.
Which one of these have you got and love the most?
If you haven’t so far, which one these would you like to try?
