Birchbox October 2016 Fire Edition Beauty Box review

Here are 7 beauty products inside the Birchbox October 2016 Fire Edition. Find out which of these beauty products is worth to try.

Like I never said it before, starting out a beauty box subscription is like eating Pringles. Once you pop, you just can’t stop. After getting swooned to this beauty box and this beauty box, I’ve joined in the crowd once more. I am now a true Birchboxist! (Is that even a word?)

This month’s box design is based on astrology. I am a Scorpion and it would have been right if I received their water box. Not that I am complaining. It is not a big deal really. And yes, the stars in the box glow in the dark! It’s a cute idea and it is nice. What’s nicer is what’s inside this box!

Beauty Box – Birchbox October 2016 Fire Edition Review

1. Rituals Purifying Body Scrub (RRP £14.00)
You know me and my body scrubs, my foot scrubs and facial scrubs obsessions… we keep each other’s company together and live happily ever after! This is the first body scrub I use that has a different scent. The invigorating smell of eucalyptus is remarkable and refreshing as soon as you rub it on the skin, then leaving it for a few minutes, and then rinsing it off. It leaves my skin satin soft like. It’s like having aromatherapy session in my shower! This is definitely my cup of tea.

2. This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray (RRP £16.00)
This is the first time I’ve tried a pillow spray ever. I know a lot of you have bedtime routines that includes this and can swear by it that it works. The first night I sprayed it on, I was for a while sniffing my pillows. It smells like I was in a nursery. It is non-toxic and non-irritating at all. “The lavender mist smells great! By inhalation, lavender is used as aromatherapy for insomnia, pain, and agitation related to dementia.” I am becoming used to this spray and I think it is going to be my new bedtime routine too!

3. Trilogy Rosehip Vital Moisturising Cream (RRP £24.50)
It is a lightweight cream and absorbed into the skin easily. The smell of Rosehip is like an old perfume, but is lovely. Rosehip aides in skin ageing and I love the idea of it.

4. Batiste Stylist Oomph My Locks XXL Volume Spray (RRP £4.29)
Seeing this in the box reminded me AGAIN how boring, I manage my hair every day. I always have it long and down all the time. Is it really that boring? My husband likes it when I do locks on my hair on some occasions. But I can’t do it every day. The girl’s gotta be out the door right away! Seeing Batiste was like a wake up call AGAIN, maybe it really is time to style my hair differently. I’ve heard a lot of good things about this brand especially their dry hair shampoos, so I am sure this hair spray will do me as good!

5. Doux Me Pure Spring Mist (RRP £16.00)
I supposed during summer time on warm and humid weather, this would be very ideal to throw in the bag every day. The weather is cold now, but I still love it when I spray this mist on my face. Every spritz moment is refreshing.

6. LOC One and Down Shadow Stick in Peachy Sheen shade (RRP £8.00)
Being an always on the move girl, I think eyeshadow pencils are the way to go. They are real easy to apply on without the fuss of eye shadow fall outs. Though, powder eye shadows and cream ones are more blendable. Pencils ones dries up quickly. I am glad that I got the Pinky Sheen shade because I love using a light iridescent color for everyday wear.

7. Spectrum Collections Unicorn Tears Wonder Sponge (RRP £4.99)
I was thrilled to receive a beauty blender in this beauty box. I like them beauty sponges as they make makeup application easy, draws out a flawless finish, and it is beautiful!

One of my guilty pleasure is reading star signs. I even installed daily horoscope app on my iPhone. Reading the star sign leaflet included in this box is such a personal touch.

Which one of these beauty products have you tried and will recommend?
