Beauty Review – Just Got Lucky With Bourjois Blur The Lines Concealer

Bourjois Blur The Lines Concealer Review

“Bourjois Blur the Lines concealer conceals and blurs dark circles and imperfections for a flawless complexion” as it claimed.

Travelling in London has been a battle lately. There are buses and train delays over time. It was just bad. And I felt, travelling alone all by myself doubles the misery. I used to come home everyday with my hubby, but when we moved offices to West London, going up to Central London to meet him has become impractical for both of us. Luckily, I persuaded him to come and meet me at the tube station near me and we have a little date night together.

So while awaiting for my husband, I stroll around Boots… my place to be! I wasn’t thinking of getting anything whilst I was there, just window shopping and yes, killing the time. When I caught sight of the striking packaging of Bourjois Blur The Lines concealer! I mean, take a look at that one. Isn’t that sexy? It looks immaculate and sleek!

Bourjois Blur The Lines concealer they said is the new product offering in this brand. It’s got 3 shades to choose from:

• Ivory has got a yellow undertone in it which is perfect for my shade.

• Beige has got a pinkish undertone.

• Golden Beige has got a peachy, dark orange undertone in it.

To be true, I don’t normally go for powder concealer as they feel heavy on the skin, builds up as cakey and or chalky in the long run, and sits on the lines of the skin. But the love at first sight got the better of me as I fell in love with the packaging of this Bourjois concealer. Can looks be really deceiving all the time?

I’d guess not! Luckily, this concealer feels lightweight on the face, it applies and sets on as smooth and silky feel on the skin. The later effect is visibly flawless! I loved it.

It does blur the blue color of my panda eyes (hooray!) and my veins. Conceals redness and acne scars too without looking clumpy or chalky. Stays matte on the surface with a silky glow without exaggeration. And it stays on for a long time too! Coverage is medium for me. For a 3.5 gram quantity per stick, I think this is going to last me for a while as a good measure.

I use my finger to blend it and also a dry Real Techniques beauty blender and pat it on. I can also wear this concealer on my face on its own without foundation needed. And that stands right off the bat!

I will definitely recommend this concealer to you. It is worth a look as much as its price for £7.99 each.

Considering the hustle and bustle of travelling in London especially that night, I feel I was lucky to have fixed a date with my husband and lucky to have waited at Boots and get my hands on this beautiful concealer.

I believe this concealer is good and hearing that Bourjois is a family of Chanel, makes it more assuring for me.
