Hair care products for coloured treated hair to try now

New inexpensive hair care products for coloured treated hair featuring Pantene Pro-V Colour Protect and Smooth Shampoo and In-Shower Foam Conditioner Colour Protect.

I grew up with the brand Pantene being my first love when it comes to hair care brand. When they assure to make hair shiny, silky, bouncy and healthy looking… they deliver. Speaking from my experience… Pantene does!

That’s why when I saw the TV ad of the new Pantene Pro-V Colour Protect range I know I have to get it. It claimed:

“It gives fine hair all the nourishment and conditioning it needs, without weighing it down. Your hair is left easy to detangle, silky soft and free-flowing. The air-light foamy texture is absorbed deep into the hair and moisturise it from the inside out – without leaving unwanted residue on the outside that could weigh down fine hair.”

First of all, I have a straight, fine and coloured treated hair. When I shop for hair care products, I always look for brands that fit to my hair needs. Then, if it is affordable, the better!

The Shampoo

I love Pantene shampoo. Period! The new Pantene Pro-V Colour Protect and Smooth Shampoo aim to seal the colour of the hair and protect it when washing. This way it will keep the colour my hair last longer while keeping it smooth like I’ve had a hot oil treatment at the salon even on my first wash.

The Conditioner

In general, using Pantene conditioner gives added moisturizing effect to my hair aside from using only their shampoo. But I noticed as the day goes by, the weight of my hair feels heavier using regular conditioner.

Rinsing takes a little bit more time as well as I make sure I’ve totally washed off the conditioner. Thinking this will elevate the weighing down issue and prevent having greasy scalp and roots.

I didn’t get the same effect when I use the new Pantene In-Shower Foam Conditioner Colour Protect. The conditioning foam is easy to spread and massage on my wet hair. Rinsing off time is super fast too.

You’d reckoned that the foam won’t hold a substantial moisturising product as it is a combination of air, foam, and that it is lightweight. But no! I can definitely feel the conditioning product in it when I apply it on as well as when I rinse my hair.

My hair feels the same soft, shiny, bouncy, tangle and frizz free. Only this time, my hair weighs down like feather at the end of the day and even the following day. I am sold!

This is my new inexpensive salon hair care products that I can definitely do every day at home. The result is not the same to that of getting properly pimped at the salon, but it is definitely close! The new in-shower foam conditioner is definitely right up my street!

Caring for hair doesn’t have to be expensive. I call a trip to the hair salon every now and then a very special treat for myself.

But now that I found a new hair care products that treats my hair like a salon would and are affordable… it is a definitely a double whammy for me!
