Here’s our own his hers Boots No7 beauty buys and reviews. Spent our Boots advantage points by getting some Boots No7 beauties FREE. Read our reviews here.

I was pleasantly surprised to note that I have collected two Boots No.7 voucher receipts from the previous purchases I made. Each voucher has a £5.00 OFF to spend on their beauty and men skin care products.

It was almost a freebie in a way. So my husband and I took the chance and bought a “his and hers” beauty products:

HIS: Boots No.7 Men Energising Moisturiser (Original priced at £8.95)

The consistency is a medium thick gel cream with a musky-mint light scent. My husband John’s skin type is normal to dry. The moisturizer doesn’t stay on the face that long. John felt it was a bit dry on the face after a while. Husband liked the idea though of this having Vitamin C which helps recharge the skin. He finds this product okay. But its effect and formulation isn’t what he personally prefers for a face moisturizing product.

John swears by Botanics Men Normal to Dry Moisturizer as it stayed on longer, it feels very soft on the skin and it is non-greasy. He ran out of this one so he is currently trying a different brand and this is the Nivea Men Creme. His skin feels softer and moisturized with this one throughout the day. It doesn’t feel greasy and the cream seeped in through his skin which is what he really liked plus it’s an all over moisturizing cream which he thinks is a bargain. Affordable beauty find for men all in one pot! Downside: it doesn’t have UV protection but overall he likes it, if he was to weigh the pros and cons with the Boots No.7 Men Energising Moisturiser.

HERS: Boots No.7 Match Made Concealer – Warm Sand (Original priced at £7.50)

Its consistency is a dry and thick cream. It glides on smooth though and the finish has a very soft feel like powder. Coverage is medium to full. I didn’t personally like this as it sits on the lines and ended up a bit cakey and dry under my eyes. Yes, it covers dark under eye circles because of its thick formulation but I thought, it looked a bit dense on my skin. The longer I wore it on the more I see it cracking on my skin which is unflattering. I cannot really complain as I got this for a very affordable price!

I love the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer (review link on its name) and Lasting Perfection Concealer (review link on its name). They have been a great staple makeup I swear by. Such an affordable beauty finds for its quality.

Sad to say that we didn’t really enjoy these beauties we got, as we find it doesn’t leverage to the other beauty products we love. It wasn’t a bad choice at all, it just wasn’t up to what we really looked for. The effect maybe different to others.

Do you use any of these products? How do you find them?
