I believe in the saying that “Less is more.” We all know that in summer, less clothes and less makeup are more beautiful!

“Less is more” means keeping everything to minimal and becoming more confident in our skin. And how do we achieved that? Is by having a healthy and glowing skin!

Now is the best time to prep our skin and ready for summer. If we haven’t already.

Beauty Box – Lookfantastic May 2017 Get The Glow Edition

My top 3 tips to keeping a healthy and glowing skin all year round but most especially during summer are:

1. Drink plenty of water. I try to drink 4 liters of water every day. I know for some people drinking water is hard. But you can try by drinking a little bit more every day until you get used to drinking a lot more water.

2. I always include scrubbing in my beauty regimen. I do scrub my face, body, hair, and feet every day. Sloughing off dead skin cells is the way to new, healthy and glowing skin.

3. Every day scrubbing can dry the skin. That’s why I make sure after scrubbing, I apply on a lotion that is rich in moisturizing ingredients.

I get excited when there’s a new skin care product I see in the drugstore to try. There is nothing wrong with a bit helping! Lookfantastic theme this month aim all that in their: The Get Glow Edition.

Beauty Box – Lookfantastic May 2017 Get The Glow Edition first impression:

Glov Hydro Demaquillage

A small cotton cloth that fit a finger like a mitten. To use it is to wet with water and then rub on the skin. It claim to remove even the hardest makeup on the face. It’s a good size to reach those inner corner on the face like the sides of the nose. It is also good in removing makeup mascara on the lashes, and scrubbing lips too.

Scrub Love Hydrating Coconut Oil Body Scrub

I’ve never used a coffee scrub before and this body scrub looks like that. It’s got cranberry, which is for brightening effect. Coconut as the exfoliator, and vitamin e to nourish the skin. All ingredients are 100% naturals so it won’t cause any harm to the skin. This body scrub makes showering all the more enjoyable routine to do.

Real Chemistry Luminous 3-Minute Peel

I hardly ever feel the scrub particles in this when I rub it off on my face. You apply it to damp skin, leave it for a while, and then massage your face to slough off dead skin cells.

James Read Gradual Tan H2O Mist

Sun-kissed glow is the summer beauty theme. I don’t use a tanning product because my skin is tan already. But during summer, my face, neck and arms get even tanner than any other parts of my body. This gradual tan mist would be ideal to spray on the parts of my body that are still pale to even out my skin color.

Mellow Cosmetics Baked Eye Shadow

Nowadays, nothing is too much when it comes to highlights. I’ve already tried this one as an eye shadow and a highlighter on my cheeks and I loved it! Such a beautiful champagne color and I believe it will suit any skin type. This is definitely my favorite “Get Glow” product in this month’s beauty box.

System Professional Reconstructive Elixir

This oil does not wear down my hair and it smells gorgeous. Lightweight and greaseless feel on the hair even the next day.

Nuface Prep-N-Glow Cleansing Cloth

A dual sided cloth like wet wipes that has a micro beads embossed on one side. It does not only remove makeup but also scrub off the dirt on the pores. It’s got hyaluronic acid to make skin feel and look fresh, plus minerals for brightening effect.

Which of these beauty products in the Lookfantastic May 2017 Get The Glow Edition have you tried?
