Beauty Review – 10 Things About Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Palette

Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Palette Beauty Review

Here’s today’s review of the new Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Palette. Find out if this worth to try, worth your money and look at the color swatch too!

The Blushed Palette is the newest addiction from Maybelline. I say, when it comes to eye shadow palette, it’s the more the merrier for me. Are you the same?

After reading a few good reviews of this palette and watching YouTubers gone cray-cray about this, I didn’t think twice and got it. I just shoved this in my haul basket and paid for it without a blink.

My eye makeup routine is very basic. I am slightly apprehensive and conservative when it comes to applying colours on my face and my skills are definitely an amateur. But I love putting on shimmery shades for daytime wear and basic smokey eye look for formal and party wear makeup. I thought I needed to get a new palette that is very handy and useful when I am on the go.

Beauty Review – 10 Things About Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Palette

1. Just like Makeup Revolution Flawless palette, pigmentation of each shade are great but the powder particles has great fall out too, like London Bridge. In defence, most powder eye shadows I’ve tried before does the same anyway so it’s kind of expected.

2. The pigmentation is buttery that one sweep gets a great deal of colour and that each color shades are true to its form.

3. I love its see-through window packaging cover where I can see all the colour shades in one look.

4. I don’t use the brush that comes with it as I find it slightly smaller for my application. Though the feel of the brush is quite compact and usable when I need a quick touch up for when I am out and about.

5. This palette holds mainly shimmery shades with one matte brown skin tone color. I personally think it is a “slight” let down. At least 3-4 matte shades more together with the shimmery ones would have been ideal.

6. Sadly, this eye shadow doesn’t stay long on my eye lids on its own. But no problemo! Nothing an eye primer can’t rescue.

7. It tends to look drying and chalky on my eye lid the more I pat on or top up eye shadow. Hence, a well-balanced application and not over indulging of the color shade is a lesson learned.

8. For heavy and smokey eye makeup look, I think it is best to get their Nudes palette. This blushed palette is more of the filmsy lighter shade and glowing effect after application.

9. I think I will be using this palette quite more often as I love putting on iridescent/shimmery eye shadows most of the time. I would make a more elaborate eye makeup look, but I’m a girl who always runs with the time.

10. For a price of £9.99 you will get 11 shimmer shades and 1 matte. Not really bad as I know I will be using this a lot of the time!

My verdict:

If iridescent shades, simple and fresh eye makeup look is your vibe, then my sister, this palette maybe worth a try!
