Here’s today’s review of the Maybelline Super Stay 24 Hr Matte Powder. Find out if this is worth to try, and worth your money too!
Whenever I see a drugstore makeup that is matte I go like bam! This girl ain’t going nowhere! This time I want a powder that I can wear on its own on some days that I don’t want to wear full on makeup. And one that will go together with my foundation base that lasts longer!
I am a fan of this drugstore matte powder for a long time. But sometimes I think it has outgrown me for using it all the time. But I guess this girl just wanna have fun and explore other things, too. By the way, I am talking about myself. Ha!
So when I saw this in my friend’s makeup bag when I raided it, I decided to fly by with my girl and get myself Maybelline Super Stay 24 Hr Matte Powder too.
Beauty Review – Maybelline Super Stay 24 Hr Matte Powder Review
This matte powder does not buff on like too powdery or chalky when I brush it on my face. It works on me by using a makeup brush or the cute sponge that comes with it. I like that my face feels silky soft and it stays matte especially on my t-zone areas.
This powder keeps shines and excess oil on my face at bay. It lasted matte on my face for a good 4-5 hours, before fading and shines show up. Packaging is very straightforward. I love that it doesn’t make me breakout too which would be a crime if it does.
I noticed other pressed powders tend to solidify the more you use it. Some becomes even harder to brush on in the long run. There is a tiny fall out issue but nothing excessive unlike other pressed powders.
I am using the shade Ivory which has a yellow pigment in it. It has 3 more shades to choose from depending on your skin tone. It retails for £5.99 at Boots when I got.
