Lifestyle – Setting Up My Monthly Goals

I’ve listed down a few monthly goals list to challenge myself to the brink! I included my personal growth, my blog dream and beauty list to do.

Writing this monthly goals list is scarier than I thought than writing my weekly grocery list. True!

I’m scared that if I fail or forget to do whatever I write on this list, then I am a failure. Goals doesn’t have to be scary and intimidating. But when we set goals we want to do in life, we feel pressure. I feel the pressure!

But the beauty of writing a goals list is for us to have a reminder to ourselves to check where our life is heading to or see if we are doing anything worth while at all. That’s my opinion.

I want to list down so many things as my goals just like when I wrote my bucket list before. But those are achievable in the future time. It does not limit me or force me to move my lazy a** now and start doing something.

Lifestyle – Setting Up My Monthly Goals

Personal Goals List:

1. Read 1-2 books in a month.
Before I decided to write a blog, I was always reading books. I love suspense, romance comedy and thrillers. I love reading on my iBook apps too. But since I got more focused on writing blog posts, my reading habit has taken a back seat. This time I would like to read again and then blog and then blog again and then read.

2. Do more walking than sitting.

I became lazy doing long walks. Partly because of the weather in the U.K. Yeah! Blame it on the rain! I want to do more walking again this time. I’m reading the signs of my body. My hips don’t lie and I’m starting to feel it’s right.

3. Drink hot water + lemon everyday instead of tea/coffee.

I used to love drinking coffee in the morning. But I don’t drink coffee or tea after 2pm. My tolerance with caffeine is very low. This time I’d like to practise a healthy regime by drinking hot water + lemon instead of coffee/tea. I have already practised  this in the morning but there are still days when temptation is still too strong especially when I see a new Pact coffee has arrived in the mail.

Blogging Goals List:

1. Update my blog profile.

I started my blog last November 2015. And I haven’t updated my “About Me” page since then. I think a new blog profile is overdue!

2. Write a guest blog post.

I have one guest blog post assignment to do with a collaborator. I have already started drafting the post but it is not finished yet. I would like to really finalize it and ready the photos A.S.A.P!

3. Film YouTube videos.

I like filming for my YouTube account. I have already a list of videos to do. At the moment I am trying to learn to use my camera and sorting out the sound settings because apparently, I have filmed a video last week but a bonker me cannot remember what I have done to the settings and the film I’ve just recorded has no voice/sound at all. So I have to re-film it again, but first I have to check the settings on my camera. Silly me!

Beauty Goals List:

1. Practise my liquid eye liner.

Yes it is still my issue. Maybe if I do it everyday I will get the hang of it! It is funny, I thought I heard myself saying that again and again.

2. Should learn to love bronzers.

I find bronzer makeup gives me a dark shadow on the face. That’s why I leave it aside. This time I would like to give it another go and maybe develop my love with bronzers.
