Beauty Review – Revlon Colorstay Eyebrow Pencil

Revlon Colorstay Eyebrow Pencil Blonde Shade

My eyebrow routine has changed from trying on this brow pencil. I used to apply a brow powder makeup as I couldn’t get my grip on the pen without overdrawing my brows. There’s also more erase and re-application that consumes most of my time doing my brows whenever I use a pencil. But not anymore now…

Can’t believe how easy it is to apply a brow pencil and I fall in love with it all over again. This time I brought myself the Revlon Colorstay Eyebrow Pencil. It is a double ended pencil where you get the brush on the other end, too. Handy tool, isn’t it? It is also a pencil that does not need sharpening. Mercy! You twist the pencil to draw the product out, line it on the brows and then brush with the spooley to blend. Easy as one-two-three!

The pencil itself is soft and pigmented. Even if I sweep it on very lightly I still draw the color without making my brows looking harsh and tattooed like. The pencil is soft but not breakable. It is soft enough that you don’t need to drag it hard to line the brows.

If I start it wrong or overlapping my brows, it is easy to wipe it off without leaving dark shadows in my skin. It applies on like a wax pencil which keep the shade last longer and brow hair stay put. Sometimes I didn’t need to use a brow gel anymore as it is good to use on its own. It is easy to blend or brush through without moving the brow product off my eyebrows.

I got the shade blonde which is a light brown color and it still makes my brows look natural. I’ve easily used up one pencil as I use it every single day.

Revlon Colorstay Eyebrow Pencil is £6.99 at Boots and they also have different shades to choose from.
