Beauty Review – The Rimmel Good To Glow Highlighter

Rimmel Good To Glow Highlighter Review

Rimmel Good To Glow Highlighter claimed to give a radiant and luminous look. It also comes in 3 different shades:

•Nottinghill Glow – pearly shimmery shade

•Piccadilly Glow – peachy/pinky shimmery shade

•Soho Glow – bronzy shimmery shade

It is in a light creamy formulation highlighter that has a hint of powdery smell and it dries matte on skin. It was a bit shocking the first time I swatched it on my hands as it was all glittery and sparkly.

I am not a major fan of glitters on makeup except shimmering eye shadows. On the face, I love the idea of “It’s barely there but I know it’s there”, if that makes sense. *wink But this one dries up as soft iridescent glitter.

Beauty Review – The Rimmel Good To Glow Highlighter

Once the product dries up, I didn’t really see the color shade effect at all. I got the Soho Glow which is a bronzy shimmery shade.

So I guess white, pink and brown doesn’t have any effect at all or whatsoever because the color pigment is invincible, but mostly shimmery effect once the lights hits the skin. Well, that’s why we are talking about the highlighter right? (Silly Billy Camille!)

I won’t say that this is a bad highlighter to buy but it is definitely NOT the best. I couldn’t complain as this is very affordable beauty hightlighter.

It didn’t stay long when I tested it. It went from very shimmery to nothing at all. It stayed matte and not patchy. it dries up quickly so blending it in place is a must.

I think the product is okay. It has that very subtle, minimal glow on skin. I think there are other highlighter/illuminating makeup products out there that is much better contender for the same price.

Which one of the Rimmel Good To Glow shade have you tried?
