Seventeen Supreme Shine Lipsticks Beauty Review

Seventeen Supreme Shine Lipsticks in shades Bon Bon and Hot Stuff review. Find out if this worth to try, and worth your money too!

SEVENTEEN Cosmetics otherwise known as 17 Cosmetics or Boots 17 or Boots No. 17, is a Boots cosmetics brand aimed at teenagers which was introduced in 1968 – according to Wikipedia.

Well, as we all know, Seventeen cosmetics is not only suited to all the teeny boppers of the new century (as they call them) but is also a hit to many Sex and The City beauties out there, who can attest to having amass makeups in this brand per se. Who else here would defer this thought? My guess is no one!

I own these two lipsticks and they have been sitting in my drawer for a couple of weeks now. Waiting until the right time that I can finally apply them on my lips. To which in my calendar reminder says, is pretty much anytime now. These lipsticks are from Seventeen brand with their Supreme Shine collections. Yes, the name itself says a great deal about the lipstick and all!

Even this autumn, many are favoriting nude and or darker, bolder shades like burgundy, rich berries, and red colour lip wear. I for one am guilty of this charge when it comes to my choice of lip shades. So I decided to get one of each in this collection that would complete the ensemble of my “ber” months party impromptu’s.

Just to throw you a little background about me, (if you haven’t read this shiz yet or have skipped the post because you find it boring), I work in the newspaper media company. And if you are in the same business, you’ll know that as soon as the “ber” months begins, you can expect a number of party invitations in the community, here and there out of the blue. Of course, when there’s a party, there’s ALWAYS an outfit outage as well as making sure our makeup stash is apt for the occasion and the season.

OK, The cat is now out! These lipsticks are now ready to create a scene!

Seventeen Supreme Shine Lipstick – Hot Stuff shade

This is a lovely red, orange lipstick shade to own. The color is sublime! It is not too shocking on the lips whatever time of the day, that is IF it concerns you and all. Whatever your skin tone is, this color will look gorgeous on your lips.

Seventeen Supreme Shine Lipstick – Bon Bon shade

This is another nude brown shade to hold. If you love lipsticks like I do, you will agree with me that owning up to another nude lip color is never too much. Right? Bon Bon shade is a very wearable lip color for a daytime and/or night-time party as well as to your everyday casual theme without compromising your get-go look.

In this cold autumn, most of us experience chapping and drying of the lips. You won’t acquire that by wearing these lipsticks, as they stay moisturized on the lips even when the color fades or on re-application.

The shimmer effect is subtle if you are concerned  about it. It gives the lips a charming shine luster which I like. It is in a creamy formulation thus expect inevitable lipstick color transfer on your glass when you drink or when you kiss someone goodbye at the end of the party night.

The lipstick glides along smoothly on the lips and yields a super rich pigmentation in just one sweep. The silver metallic look packaging is presentable. Truly a value for money, if I may say, for its price of £4.99 a piece.

I wear Bon Bon shade mostly on daytime and Hot stuff for night-time party events. Either or, these two shades are interchangeable depending on your routine and will still look pretty on the lips.

Have you got your Seventeen Supreme shine lipsticks already? Which is your favorite shade?
